Renewal of d-Cert

Digital Certificate (d-Cert) renewal

Subscribers of d-Cert (Personal), d-Cert (Organizational), d-Cert (Encipherment), and d-Cert (Server) will receive a renewal notice prior to the certificate’s expiry.

To renew a certificate, applicants must submit a renewal application, provide the required supporting documents, and pay the applicable fees through the d-Cert Subscriber Portal, or, where applicable, via contractors or recognised certification authorities.

Renewal is subject to the Subscriber’s application and the HKCA’s approval and must be completed before the certificate’s expiry date. The HKCA will not renew certificates that have expired, been temporarily suspended, or been revoked.
