How to Apply / Renew d-Cert

A. New d-Cert Application
All applicants must submit their d-Cert application, provide the required documents, and pay the relevant fees through the HKCA’s d-Cert Subscriber Portal or, where applicable, via contractors or recognized certification authorities.

B. Renewal of d-Cert
Subscribers of d-Cert (Personal), d-Cert (Organizational), d-Cert (Encipherment), and d-Cert (Server) will receive a renewal notice before the certificate expires. All renewal applicants must submit the application, provide the required documents, and pay the relevant fees through the HKCA’s d-Cert Subscriber Portal or, where applicable, via contractors or recognized certification authorities. Renewal will be granted based on the Subscriber’s application and at the discretion of the HKCA before the certificate’s expiry. The HKCA will not renew certificates that have expired, been temporarily suspended, or revoked.
