Apply / Use HKCA d-Cert R

Applicants may submit their d-Cert applications either through the d-Cert Subscriber Portal or, where applicable, through the HKCA operator, Certizen Limited. HKCA d-Cert may be issued to

• Individuals who have a Hong Kong identity card, or
• Organisations that hold a valid business registration certificate issued by the Government of the Hong Kong SAR, or
• Bureaux and Departments of the Government of Hong Kong SAR, or
• Statutory bodies of Hong Kong whose existence is recognized by the laws of Hong Kong.

To use the d-Cert issued and delivered to you, it must be installed on your system platform or within the intended application software, such as mainstream web browsers, email clients, and similar applications, to ensure seamless integration and trusted operation.
